who we are

Home Health Connection (HHC) was incorporated in 1992 with a focus on therapy services in the home. Our first office was located in Chevy Chase, Maryland; our services have since expanded to include offices in Baltimore City, Maryland, as well as Reston, Virginia. Since our initial conception, our focus has shifted to private duty nursing for children with longstanding, complex medical problems, although providing adult care has remained an important part of our services. Today, we provide services in Baltimore, the metropolitan area, and Virginia, establishing a reputation of providing consistently high quality care.

Our home care professionals are all licensed and certified in their field, and meet the highest standards of education, qualifications, and past excellence of performance. Our employees and contractors are carefully screened, bonded, and insured, as well as assessed in order to assure their ability to deal effectively and confidently with people of varied backgrounds and degrees of illness. The intensive screening process includes:

  • Comprehensive skills testing
  • Health screening
  • Assessment of interpersonal and communication skills

Home care professionals are carefully selected to ensure continuing satisfactory relationships between the caretakers, patients, and other family members. HHC works hard to create warm and caring relationships that provide an alternative to hospitalization and its accumulating costs.

Licensed as a residential service agency (R1136) by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Office of Health Care Quality.
